Pete and Gladys

The Pete And Gladys TV show was a comedy series and a "spin-off" of the show, "December Bride". On this program, we meet Pete Porter's wife Gladys who never appeared on "December Bride". She had always been depicted as a nasty woman who nagged Pete constantly about everything, but on "Pete And Gladys" she amazingly appeared as a normally pleasant wife. Perhaps the series would have lasted more than two seasons if they'd left her a nag.
