Nakia

Contemporary police drama set in Concord, New Mexico about Davis County deputy sheriff, Nakia Parker (Robert Forster), a full-blooded Navajo Native American who was often in conflict with his people's customs and white man's law.Nakia was anxious to promote the peace and serve the citizens of his district. That could include being an advocate for his tribe to save an historic mission that the city council wanted to sell to an influential land developer; protecting a Navajo physician from one of his former psychiatric patients; or breaking up a fight at "Jackies," a local bar.
