U.S. TV special. Dec-27-67. Kraft Music Hall presents: "Wood Allen Looks at 1967." Woody's unique take on the events of 1967. Guests include: Liza Minnelli, Aretha Franklin, John Byner and William F. Buckley Jr.

Program highlights include: an opening monologue (Woody say's he tried to enlist but the draft board burned his draft card!). A skit with Liza Minnelli, John Byner and Woody arguing about Liza's groovy mini skirt being too short and the trend of adults adopting youth culture clothing styles.

Aretha Franklin performs" "Respect" and "Chain of Fools." Liza Minnelli performs: "Feeling Groovy." A skit where a Hollywood director reminisces about the decline of an aging child star, "Baby Bobby Dimple." Woody is Baby Bobby Dimple.

Woody gets into it with conservative William F. Buckley Jr. Woody takes a tragically liberal position and William F. Buckley Jr. takes the hard right. A skit re-telling the year's big hit film, "Bonny and Clyde." Woody in the Warren Beatty role is hilarious. Note: This quality of this special is somewhat below our usual high standard but is still very watchable and enjoyable.
