Smith Family

This short-lived drama series starred Henry Fonda as veteran plainclothes Los Angeles policeman Det. Sgt. Chad Smith. Most of the stories centered around the family problems faced by a member of the police force, who deals with violent criminals on a daily basis, but it also touched on the generation gap between Smith and his college-aged daughter Cindy (Darleen Carr). Janet Blair played his wife Betty while Ron Howard played his eldest son Bob.
