One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time was a 30 minute comedy series about a recently divorced mother of two teenage girls who was trying her best to get their lives back on the right track under totally new circumstances. The youngest daughter, at age 15, was very well behaved but could be demanding at times. Her older sister, at age 17, wasn't demanding at all ... in fact, she would have preferred her mother to simply "butt-out" of her life and let her make her own (usually very bad) decisions. But through the hard times, their love for each other (and a little help from their goofy building superintendant "Schneider") solved all problems in the long run!
