The Honeymooners TV show was one of televisions first situation comedy series. It aired for 30 minutes per episode and was about a bus driver who was never happy with his lot in life. He often tried "get rich quick" schemes that he was sure would work but they never did. He ended out feeling like a "loser" but his ever-loving wife always managed to bring him out of it in the end by pointing out what was good in their lives.
