PERFECT STRANGERS

The Perfect Strangers TV show was a 30 minute comedy series about a jolly foreigner named Balki from a backward island nation who came to America to live with his distant mid-western American cousin named Larry in Chicago, Illinois. Larry had nearly the opposite personality as his happy go lucky cousin. He was a big city boy with many of the characteristics that tend to occur when living in a congested area. He was busy busy busy all of the time while Balki was very relaxed. Larry tended to be suspect of others while Balki naively though that everyone was good inside. At times these differences causes problems between the two but in the end they complimented each other.
