Six Feet Under

The Six Feet Under TV show was a drama series about two brothers who ran the family funeral home together. One of them was gay and the other had a potentially life-threatening disease that he was just hoping won't kill him. Their mother was kind of "lost in life" and was constantly looking for a reason to go on living. Their sister somehow seemed to be pretty normal. Each Episode began by showing someone in a situation that lead to their death (and the family funeral home). Usually, a family member interacted with the brothers and dealt with their loved-ones death in a variety of ways. As you can see, there was no lack of plot possibilities!
